For a while now, something has been missing.

The Quarterly Chatman, once a familiar presence in Settlers life, has been quiet since July 2025. No new editions. No familiar releases at the end of a term…

Just a space where something used to be.

People noticed.

At first, it was easy to assume it was just a delay. But as the silence stretched on, it became harder to ignore. The question shifted into something more uncertain:

Is it the end?

Not quite.

Behind that silence, something was changing. What once existed as something occasional is now becoming something far more present.

Something that doesn’t wait.

Something that moves with the school instead of looking back on it.

Stepping out of the shadows, it’s no longer about reporting from a distance — it’s about being right there, in every moment.

A new identity may still be forming, but the direction is clear.

So no — The Quarterly Chatman isn’t dead.

It’s just no longer what it used to be.

And whatever comes next won’t be something that appears once and disappears again.

This time, it’s here to stay.
